Happy almost new year Chantel! Just showing you some pictures of Chii. She is absolutly wonderful! Her color amazes me and many other chinchilla fans! She really has a great personality. I am very thankful and happy to have her! She loves her cage! I expanded it as you can see in the pics and she loves it. She has plenty of room (My, how she grows!) and space to run, jump climb and of course eat on! :D I hope you and your husband (and all your chinnies and other animals) had a wonderful christmas!

Love the new chins! :) They are really fun to play with and really cute. I changed their names to Sugar and Spice. Sugar is the beige one and Spice is the standard one.

The boys are doing well. Spidey(the beige, because he jumps on and climbs his walls) is progressing much faster socially. He has gotten to where he enjoys being held, and  comes to the cage wall whenever anyone is near, to sniff fingers or visit through the cage. He loves playtime, too. Thank you!

Thanks for all the supplies! The chins love the rose hips and supplement. How do you recommend I use the supplement.(quantity per chin/how often). Also, do you mix it with their pellets or serve it separately?

(PS- to answer her question, it is best limit supplement like any other treats, to 2-3 times a week. Give is SEPARATELY from the pellets, and you are best off to put it on a flat plate, or 2 separate dishes if you have more than one chin, as they can and will fight over it if they both can't get to it! Give about a pinch per chin, not a huge pinch either!)



Just to let you know everything is going great with Poppy, she seems really happy and healthy, she already jumps into my hand and runs up my shoulder if I sit by the cage. Thank you!

I am so happy that Scotia found you….I am so glad to have a breeder as opposed to a pet store.  Boo, the short-tailed guy, is coming out of his shell…he is proving to be the snuggler and the dare-devil.  Wonderful.  They are eating plenty…is guess we got lucky with the water bottle we bought…it is not too leaky.  They are munching all of their toys and pumice and hay cubes.  I think all is well.  I feel much better knowing that our chins come from a good safe home.  Thanks for raising baby chinchillas!  Your garage was awesome.

The new boys are doing great. The ebony is more comfortable than the standard. But they both allow us to handle them. The ebony loves the wheel in the cage, even sleeping there :-)
