Wood Perch

This perch is very fun for a cage, and it doubles as a chew toy! Mulberry wood has super crispy, thick bark, so chins really love it. The perches are about 10" or longer and 1.5" or more thick. They love to jump, so perches, ledges and shelves are always a favorite. You would not think they could balance as well as they do, but when you see them on these, you will be very surprised how at ease they are. They love jumping from perch to perch or perch to shelf, and just have a blast playing on them. 

Perches are an absolute favorite here, even for kits. It is like when they were in the wild, they would climb up on tree stumps and branches to reach fruit and bark, so they really love natural wood perches. 

Each perch comes with hardware to attach to the cage as well. These perches come prepared (scrubbed, boiled, baked) so they are safe for chewing!

We make these because there are no good ones on the market! They are either too thin, too small, or bad quality or even poisonous wood! So, we decided to make our own. They around about 11"x9"x9" and can be painted with polka dots and your chinchilla's name, or come unpainted. I am no artist but they are very cute! They come with a door and 3 or more windows, and are made of 1" pine, and are very chin tested and approved! They are really heavy and awkward, so so we only offer them for pick up.

Organic chinchilla supplement, good for an occasional treat. Chins love this! Made from a mix of chinchilla safe oats, flax seeds, crushed rosehips, and 7 other ingredients, this supplement is a favorite here! Make sure to feed it in a separate dish, or you will have fighting chins at feeding time. This is also great for sick or underweight chins. It is just a supplement, and should be used sparingly. We recommend a pinch per chin 2-3 times a week.
